Sceptre Angling Club is a family friendly club located in the Tolpits Complex part way between Rickmansworth and Watford in Hertfordshire.
Founded in 1951 it is operated as a traditional coarse fishing club.
The Club owns its own lake (Moor Lane Lake) near the confluence of the Rivers Colne and Gade.
Moor Lane Lake is a pretty little fishery that is quite shallow with a small island.
The lake is a general coarse fishery suitable for most needs and does include some larger carp.
Night fishing is permitted, but bivvies are not allowed.
We fish a number of matches throughout the year at Moor Lane Lake and a variety of other venues.
See Match Fixtures for the schedule of the current Match Season.
